Fibre cement is made from cement, water, and natural and synthetic fibres. It’s renowned for being robust in different environments. It remains in excellent condition, even when subjected to sudden temperature variations and inclement weather. Without doubt, it’s the best choice for a livestock building.
These are the benefits of Eternit corrugated fibre cement sheets
Reduced condensation drips: our semi-compressed sheets are designed to absorb up to 25% of their weight in moisture to reduce condensation – this is more than all imported fibre cement sheets available in the UK today.
A building clad with Eternit profiled sheeting will remain cooler in summer and warmer in winter. As the sheets are warmer to the touch compared to steel, there are fewer instances of condensation forming on the sheets on cold nights.
Sound-suppressing fibre cement helps manage noise in the indoor environment.
Provides long-term protection against all weather conditions.
With the use of reinforcing fibres, allows for a light weight roof covering per m2.
Fire classification when tested against EN13501-1, is A2-s1-d0.
